Beautiful place, good food and very nice service!
Personnel extrêmement attentif aux désirs et besoins du client!
As always great food, fantastic service and awesome atmosphere!
Have already eaten better Libanese food in Brussels (Laeken). Also not serving alcohol is not the smartest thing to do. When you see the world best restaurant serves wines. I do not think this is for better tasting the food but rather a pressure of bearded moslim extremists who rule more and more restos in Brussels
Voor mij was dit de eerste keer dat ik Libanees at en ik was verrast door de verschillende smaken. Het verhaal achter het restaurants maakte de hele food experience compleet.
I invited my best friend who is Lebanese to this restaurant. I booked the place in advance online and my first surprise was that you can't stay more then 1h30... The interior is very nice and pleasant. The waiter was nice but unfortunately didn't speak a word of Arabic/Lebanese, the second waiter was only speaking English. The service was nice even though their app (to view the menu/order and pay) didn't work on our phones ... We went for 77 euro menu. So you scan the menu and you have to make your choices from there. Funny concept but the application wasn't working properly because the internet connection inside is quite poor and the waiter kindly accepted to take our choices. We were really surprised there is no other drinks that the bottle of water included in the menu. When we asked for wine the reply was a strong non as they don't have Alcohol in the restaurant. We were surprised as considering the location of the restaurant (St Catherine area) and my Lebanese friend told me that in Beirut you can get alcohol in restaurants ! Lebanon has Muslims (that drink alcohol and others that don't) and Christians too. Going to this restaurant, people might think that Lebanon is a alcohol free country which is not the case ! We were looking forward for a nice tasty meal full of flavours but it was a big disappointment... litteraly. Taboule without tomatoes, humus with some other ingrediants and too liquid etc.... I am not an expert in Lebanese food but my friend is and said is the worst Lebanese food she has ever had. When the waiter asked if we enjoyed the dinner, my friend explained all that to the waiter. The reply was... those are the recipies of the owners grand mother.... .. Not going back anytime soon, I missed the Lebanese culture and way of hosting and the delicious meal.
Heel lekker. Enkel de wachttijd na het tafelen, om af te ruimen, en tot we onze thee kregen, duurde echt lang. Daar zit nog een verbeterpuntje.
