The visit was overall pleasant, and the general quality of the food was okay. The service was excellent, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. However, we were quite disappointed with the quality of the food. The pulled pork was too dry, as were the short ribs. The biggest letdown was the brisket—it was clearly undercooked. The fat hadn’t rendered properly within the meat, resulting in pieces that were either overly fatty or unpleasantly tough, depending on the spot. It seemed like the brisket was cooked too quickly and then briefly placed on the BBQ afterward. We’ve visited this restaurant a couple of times about a year ago, and back then, the brisket was so tender it melted in the mouth—it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the overall quality of the food has declined significantly since then, and the price-to-quality ratio no longer feels justified.
