Food was ok except the desert. The waffles were too soggy and had no taste. The staff were not local and spoke very little Dutch. It was supposed to be an authentic Flemish restaurant and that took away some of the charm.
The service was great being with Sandy. We chose Vlaminck out of the blue and turned out to be the best.
Freundliches und aufmerksames Team, leckeres Essen und angemessene Preise, wir kommen gerne wieder! Nicht weit vom Marktplatz in einer Seitenstraße, man muss nicht immer zu den Restaurants direkt am Platz gehen. Wir unterstützen gerne die Restaurants in zweiter oder dritter Reihe.
The ambience was relaxed, although it was busy. Waiting staff were attentive & polite. The food was really good & value for money.
The quality of the food was not good and too expensive. My wife had some fish and it was almost not eatable. I had the meatballs. And guess what...there were only four of them. For a price of over 20€. The staff was unfriendly and seamed stressed. We did not enjoy our visit. We were totally NOT satisfied.
